دنیا کی سب سے بڑی چھپکلی

 



کوموڈو ڈریگن دنیا کی سب سے بڑی چھپکلی ہے جو انڈونیشیا کے جزیروں میں پائی جاتی ہے۔ یہ جانور اپنی طاقت, تیز دانتوں، زہریلے تھوک اور حملہ کرنے کی صلاحیت کی وجہ سے مشہور ہے۔ کوموڈو ڈریگن کا جسم بڑا، جبڑے طاقتور اور تیز پنجے ہوتے ہیں۔




ایک بالغ کوموڈو ڈریگن کا وزن 70 کلوگرام  تک ہوتا ہے اور اس کی لمبائی 3 میٹر ہوتی ہے۔ کوموڈو ڈریگن کے جبڑے بہت مضبوط ہوتے ہیں اور یہ اپنی تیز دانتوں کے ذریعے بڑے شکار کو چیر سکتا ہے۔یہ تیز رفتاری سے دوڑتا ہے ،اس کے پنجوں کی گرفت بہت مضبوط ہوتی ہے، جو اسے شکاری بننے میں مدد دیتی ہے۔





کوموڈو ڈریگن کا تھوک زہریلا ہوتا ہے جو شکار کو کمزور کر دیتا ہے اور آسانی سے ہلاک کر دیتا ہے۔ یہ جانور شکار کو پہلے اپنے زہر سے زخمی کرتا ہے اور پھر اسے کھا جاتا ہے۔ اس کی خوراک میں ہر قسم کے جانور شامل ہیں، اور یہ موقع پر مردار بھی کھاتا ہے۔

   پاکستان میں یہ جانور مقامی طور پر نہیں ملتا اور نہ ہی اس کی کوئی قدرتی آبادی یہاں موجود ہے۔
